Booking Terms and Conditions

1. By accepting our quote you acknowledge the following terms and conditions.

2. In these terms and conditions,

“We” means SHE BY SHARRY or any stylist (including the Principal Stylist) of the company;

“Stylist” means a stylist (including the Principal Stylist) of the company.

 

Photo-shoot and Special Occasions

1.    Makeup and hairstyling booking for photo shoot or special occasion can only be secured by a 50% deposit.   We are not obliged to keep your appointment without a deposit.  From time to time we may honour your booking without a deposit but we are not under any obligation to do so.

2.     The balance is due 28 days prior to the appointment unless other arrangements have been made and confirmed.

3.    All payments (including deposit and balance) are strictly non-refundable to the extent allowed by law.

4.    An early morning surcharge is payable if the appointment starts earlier than 7am.

5.    You are required to provide parking facility for the stylist.  If you are unable to do so, you are required to reimburse all fees in relation to the parking.

6.    For onsite touch-up service (apart from one-off touch-up service) you are required to provide return transport or cover the cost of travel for the stylist between the preparation location and the site(s).

7.    You may reschedule the appointment by one of the following ways:

a)   Where the reason for rescheduling is unsuitable weather for photo-shooting on the morning of the photo-shoot, you must notify the stylist by SMS or phone call at least 4 hours before the appointment; or

b)   Where the reason for rescheduling is not unsuitable weather for photo-shooting, you must notify the stylist by email or SMS at least 48 hours before the appointment.

In either case payment can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment as agreed between you and the stylist.  The payment will not be refunded if there is no mutually convenient time to reschedule the appointment.

8.    We may refuse to reschedule the booking if your notification to reschedule is not made in accordance with Clause 7.

9.    The appointment may only be rescheduled once for each booking.  If you are unable to attend the rescheduled booking, any payments will not be refunded.

10. We will provide only one makeup application and/or one hairstyling service in a single appointment.  If you require us to provide multiple styles additional fees will apply.

11. If you wish to book a trial appointment for your photoshoot same rate and travel fees apply for your trial.

 

Trials

12. A trial booking can only be secured by a 50% deposit.  We are not obliged to keep your appointment without a deposit.  From time to time we may honour your booking without a deposit but we are not under any obligation to do so.

13.  The balance is due 14 days prior to the appointment, unless other payment arrangements have been made.

14. Unless otherwise provided by clause 9, all payments (including deposit and balance) are strictly non-refundable to the extent allowed by law.

15.  You may change the date and/or time of your trial appointment if and only if you notify SHE BY SHARRY by email or SMS at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.  The payment can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment as agreed between you and your stylist.  The payment will not be refunded if there is no mutually convenient time to reschedule the appointment.

16. The appointment may only be rescheduled once for each trial booking.  If you are unable to attend the rescheduled booking, your payment will not be refunded.

17.  We may refuse to reschedule the appointment if you notify us less than 48 hours prior to the appointment. In this case the payment will not be refunded.

18. Notwithstanding anything appears in the contrary, booking a trial does not guarantee your wedding day reservation unless we receive a separate deposit for the wedding day.  However, you will be notified before your trial if the stylist is no longer available on your wedding day.  We will refund the deposit for your trial in this circumstance.

19. We will do as much styling as we can in trial sessions (90 minutes for makeup) At the end of a trial session the quality of makeup will not be photographic.  You are required to make a separate booking for makeup prior to a professional photo shoot session.

20. After your trial appointment, we are not obliged to reserve your wedding day for you without a deposit, and we are not obliged to notify you if we no longer have capacity on your wedding day.  If you wish to secure your wedding day booking you must pay a deposit.

 

Weddings

21. A wedding day booking can only be secured by a 50% deposit.  No appointment will be honoured without a deposit.

22. The balance is due 28 days prior to the appointment.

23. All payments towards the wedding day booking (including but not limited to deposit, balance and payment for cosmetics items) are strictly non-refundable to the extent allowed by law.

24. You may not reschedule your wedding day booking.

25.  An early morning surcharge is payable if your appointment is earlier than 7am.

26. You are required to provide parking facility for the stylist(s).  If you are unable to do so, you are required to reimburse all fees in relation to the parking.

27. For onsite touch-up service (apart from one-off touch-up service) you are required to provide return transport or parking for the stylist between the preparation location and the site(s).

 

Cancellations and Changes to Bookings - Other

You may increase services required anytime, subject to availability.

Booked services cannot be cancelled or eligible for refund if:

a) Client has changed their mind and no longer wishes to use SHE By SHARRY services

b) Client notifies us less than 28 days prior to the event / photo-shoot.

Booked Services are eligible for partial refund if:

a)   The client cannot proceed with booked date due to unforeseen circumstances outside of their control (travel restrictions, weather that will impact the photographer and shoot) In this case the client is entitled to a 50% refund of total booking fee.

b)   In the event the client reschedules then they are eligible for their deposit / full payment to be moved to the new date

c)   If a date cannot be confirmed by either parties then all deposits and/or full payments will be forfeited by the client.
